Falooda is a cold dessert with origins in the Indian subcontinent. Traditionally it is made from mixing rose syrup, vermicelli, sweet basil seeds with milk, often served with ice cream.

Ingredients:
Milk (chilled) : ½ cup
Basil seed (sabja seed/falooda seed) : 2 tablespoons
Strawberry jelly : ½ cup
Noodles : ½ cup
Sugar : 2 tablespoons
Ice cream (vanilla/strawberry) : 1 scoop
Rose syrup : 1 tablespoon
Almond (crushed) : 25 gram
Pistachio (crushed) : 25 gram
Fruits (banana, cherry, grape, apple, pomegranate, strawberry)
Instructions:
Clean basil seeds and wash them.
Soak the seeds for about 2 hours. They will swell up and absorb water. Drain the excess water.
Add some water in a pan and boil the noodles for 5 minutes. Drain the remaining water and set aside.
Add sugar to milk and stir it until dissolved.
Take a long shaped glass and transfer the basil seeds in it.
Add the boiled noodles and pour rose syrup.
Transfer the milk on the glass.
Add some fruits and strawberry jelly.
Add the remaining fruits, crushed pistachio and almond.
Finally top with one scoop of ice cream.
Serve the falooda immediately.
