Ingredients:
All-purpose flour : ½ cup
Cocoa powder (unsweetened) : ⅓ cup
Butter : ½ cup
White sugar : 1 cup
Egg : 2 pieces
Vanilla extract : 1 teaspoon
Baking powder : ¼ teaspoon
Salt : ¼ teaspoon
For frosting -
Butter (softened) : 3 tablespoons
Cocoa powder (unsweetened) : 3 tablespoons
Honey : 1 tablespoon
Vanilla extract : 1 teaspoon
Confectioners' sugar : 1 cup
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
Beat in cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
Combine softened butter, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract and confectioners' sugar. Stir until smooth.
Frost brownies while they are still warm and serve.
